| Skjerpet ligger omtrent 200 m ØSØ for Stautlands siste hus på veien mellom Stautland og Oldereid, det vil sannsynligvis kreve lokalkunnskap å lokalisere det. Like vest for skjerpet ligger hist og her enkelte kvartsblokker som er de beste veivisere til skjerpet. Området er helt overgrodd, og det er også skjerpet. Den lokale bergarten er basalt. Det var ikke mulig å foreta målinger, men det ble innsamlet to prøver med litt svovelkis. Både Olsen (1885) og Reusch (1888) omtaler et skjerp ved Stautland. |
