| Kvartsåra ligger i det sydvestlige hjørne av Tjongevatnet, ca. 40 m fra veien som den kan ses fra. En kraftlinje passerer like over. Kvartsåra er opptil 1,3 m tykk og kan følges ca. 10 m, orienteringen er 0/70Ø. Kvartsen er hvit og inneholder linser av forskifret vertsbergart, som er basalt. Det ses ikke karbonat eller sulfider, åra vurderes uinteressant. Mineraliseringen er ikke omtalt i litteraturen. |
