| Skjerpet ligger rett nord for skogsbilveien i glissen granskog, og tippen er godt synlig fra veien. Det er en 10 m lang skjæring med orientering 330° på sørøst sida av en knaus. Det er vannfylt inn mot den veggen opptil 2,5 m høye veggen i nordvest. Berggrunnen domineres av finkornet, amfibolittisk grønnstein med smale kvarts+karbonatårer med ulik orientering, i hovedsak parallelle med foliasjonen i grønnstein (282°/75°), men også normalt denne. Spredte, finkornete aggregater av bornitt og kobberglans finnes i disse årene.ngen ser i hovedsak ut til opptre i breksje med karbonatfragmenter i mørk grågrønn, finkornet amfibol matriks. Både kobberglans og bornitt danner finkornet fylling i denne matriks. I tillegg finnes kobberglans som uregelmessige strenger i og langs kanten av kvartsårer. |
