| Denne forekomsten befinner seg i den bratte lia på sørsiden av Dalen sentrum, ovenfor den tredje av hårnåls-svingene i Rv.38/45. Selve skjerpet er i østsiden av snauhogsten under en hovedkraftlinje. Det består av en totalt gjengrodd skjæring, om lag 5-6 m lang og 1m dyp. Det skal visstnok også være en liten stoll, men denne ble ikke funnet i den meget tette vegetasjonen. Nede i veikanten er mineraliseringen godt blottlagt og består av en 10-15 cm åre dominert av kobberkis, med mindre mengder bornitt og kvarts. Åren er steiltstående med retning N-S (009/70). Omgivende bergart er foliert amfibolitt/grønnstein. |
