Forekomsten ligger på nordsiden av Meierkollen og det går en sti fra toppen av kollen rett forbi. Det er kun en liten røsk, ca 3 m lang og inntil 1 m dyp som har en øst-vest retning (95 grader). Det er en gangforekomst som består alt overveiende av drusekvarts og hvor krystallene er opptil 2-3 cm store og opptrer dels i kamstruktur. Kvartsen opptrer dels i et årenettverk/breksjestruktur i middelskornet granitt, hvor enkelte av årene er opptil 30 cm tykke. Det er svak omvandling med epidot rundt årene. I druserom i kvartsen opptrer enkelte korn av 1-2 mm magnetitt og mindre enn 1 mm korn av pyritt. Ellers er det spredt kalkspat. Kvartsgangen kan følges ca. 25 m langs strøket, altså i Ø-V retning.
