| Forekomsten ligger ca. 400 øst for Jungerveien langs en tursti som fortsetter østover til Bergsgruva, og mineraliseringen er trolig av samme type kismalm som ved den gruva. Arbeidene består av en større vannfylt synk med plane sidevegger med lengde 3,5x3,5 m. Veggene er 0,5-1 m høye over vannivå. I vestre del av NØ-veggen står det igjen deler av malmsonen med semi-massiv magnetkis-pyritt og mindre mengder kobberkis og sinkblende i kvartsittisk bergart med foliasjon 252°/80°. Det er vanskelig å bestemme malmsonas orientering, men den er trolig omkring 220°, dvs. tilnærmet parallelt nordvest-veggen. To hovedtyper malm kan skilles ut: semi-massiv magnetkis-pyritt-sinkblende med strenger av kobberkis i kvartsittisk bergart og massiv middelskornet magnetkis-sinkblende med mindre mengder pyritt. Det er svært dårlig blottet omkring forekomsten og dermed vanskelig å bestemme vertsbergarten for mineraliseringen nærmere. |
