Forekomsten består av en ca. 22 m lang dagskjæring med retning 95°. Skjæringen er gjenfylt og gjenvokst med en omkring 2 m høy vegg i nord og 1 m høy i sør. Den skjærer foliasjonen som har orientering 15°/90°, i felsisk, biotitt-førende gneis. Kvartsgangen er ikke synlig i skjæringen, men ulike faser med kvarts sees på tippen. Gangen er minst 30 cm bred og består hovedsakelig av melkehvit grovkornet kvarts med dels hulromsfylling. Blokker med mørk kvarts og kullblende finnes også. Sulfidmineralene forekommer i aggregater og disseminert i ulike faser av kvartsen. En ca. 45 cm bred kvartsgang er blottet i en 10 m lang, grunn grøft ca. 30 m vest for forekomsten (541535 6618086). Retningen på denne gangen er 90°/65°.
