På Raudfjellet mye rust. Dette er særlig over hovedskjerpet. Dette skyldes små peridotitter i selve fjellet. Det er også et skjerp tilknyttet en av disse kroppene som ikke ble besøkt. Hovedskjerpet er sannsynlig en affset fra sulfider i peridotitten. Malmen i hovedskjerpet er ofte semimassiv. H.o.h. 600m. 1 plukkprøve for analyse.
