| Description |
| Driftshistorie: Lødingen Steinindustri - prøveuttak. Nå periodisk drift. Petrografi/forekomsten: Bergarten er en rosa granittisk gneis med svak gneisfoliasjon, middels- til finkornet. Biotitt+grønn amfibol opptrer som bånd og langstrakte linser, vekselvis med bånd og linser av kvarts+feltspat. Alder 1700-1800 Ma. Bergarten har stor utbredelse, ofte med mikrosprekker og kataklastiske korngrenser. Disse samt foliasjonen gir bergarten relativt høy permeabilitet, men begrensede partier har lite oppspekning som gir mulighet for større blokker. |

| Norsk kystkultur handler om mer enn skuter, sild og småbruk i fjæra. Stein har også spil en rolle. Både som byggemateriale i grunnmurer, moloer og kaier, men også som næringsvei. Den vesle gården Annfinnslett i Lødingen Vestbygd er en av mange plasser langs kysten med en stolt steinindustrihistorie. |
