Røsken er ei 3x3 m, vannfylt, grunn sprenggrop i amfibolitt. 30-40 cm mektighet av denne middelskornete amfibolitten med granat og litt biotitt er mineralisert (prøve 02, 03 og 04) med kobberkis og magnetkis, som opptrer delvis i bånd og delvis ujevnt fordelt som disseminasjon. I liggkontakten til den mineraliserte amfibolitten er en 10-15 cm mektig finkornet kvartsitt med små granater og finfordelt kobberkis-disseminasjon (01). Under denne igjen er det amfibolitt. Hengbergarten til den mineraliserte amfibolitten er finkornet amfibolitt med noe granat og karbonatlag (05). 10 m mot vest er en gjengrodd avblotningsgrøft. I vegskjæringen ca. 50 m mot øst er den mineraliserte amfibolitten ca. 1 m mektig. Den er foldet, med foldeakse ca. 300/10 (omtrentlig mål pga. defekt kompass). Langs hengkontakten er det flere cm-mektige, konkordante kvartsbånd, stedvis med litt kobberkis.
