Det 2 x 2 m2 store skjerpet ligger i fjæra på nordsiden av odden på Haukebø. Den stratabundne mineraliseringen består av 1-3 mm store euhedrale magnetittkrystaller, sammen med noe amfibol og kloritt i finkornet dolomittmarmor. Magnetitten er anriket i cm-mektige bånd og linser, og ellers noe disseminasjon over en mektighet på ca. 1 m i skjerpet. Impregnasjonsmineraliseringen er lokalt semimassiv, i opptil 2 cm mektige bånd. Hematitt opptrer underordnet sammen med magnetitt i enkelte bånd. Vest for skjerpet er mineraliseringen overdekket.
