| I granitten på toppen av Nupen er det antydning til litt fattig mt-mineralisering, hornblende-amfibolitt og muligens litt dolomitt, dvs. samme bergarter som på vestsida av Kasfjorden (TR 0403). Men på Nupen finnes disse bergarter i meget mindre mengder. Selve Nupentoppen (412 moh.) er et 55 m bredt snaufjell, og her er kun funnet en mt-mineralisering, en 0.5 m linse. Litt ned i sørhellinga 300-350 moh. er det et granplantefelt og tett bjørk-kratt,- her kan det være dolomitt, men kun en dolomitt-blokk er sett. |
