Central part of the Mydland layered sequence, traditionally interpreted as part of the Bjerkreim-Sokndal Layered Intrusion. The prospect consists of layered norites with both ilmenite, magnetite and apatite. [The Brombo deposit 2500 m further south at Guddalsvatnet has also been referred to as Mydland!!]
