Denne båndete jernformasjonen opptrer i liggen til den marmorhorisonten som er vertsbergart til Gamvik Pb-Zn-mineralisering. Den har utgående i høyde 330 m.o.h., rett på nordsiden av en lite bevokst NØ-SV-gående høyderygg. På stedet er det to små røskegroper med mindre enn 1 m3 tippmateriale. Det er blottlagt bare 0.5 m mektighet av mineraliseringen - sannsynligvis er den noe mer. De øverste 10-20 cm er finkornet granatskarn med magnetittbånd (prøve 03) av få mm mektighet og magnetitt-disseminasjon. Derunder middelskornet, kvartsbåndet magnetitt-mineralisering (01). Mot liggen er den amfibolrik (02). Granatglimmerskifer er heng- og liggbergart. 3-4 m over mineraliseringen er det blottet kalkspatmarmor. Mineraliseringen kan følges med svakt kompassutslag under overdekket terreng noen hundre meter NØ-over mot Rødåsen.
