| H.P. Geis (1967): Forekomsten ligger på neset vest for Indre Simavik på Stjernøy. En hornblenditt er her i vekslende grad mineralisert med magnetitt. Det mineraliserte området hsar et areal på ca. 150 000 m2, herav blir et areal på 22 500 m2 betegnet av Stokke og Hegrum som det som er sterkest mineralisert på Stjernøy.
