| Mineraliseringen er avblottet over 10 meters lengde og mektighet på 20-30 cm i kanten av ei lysløype, 170 m.o.h. og 5 m øst for en bekk som renner ned til Sjøvegan. Det er semimassiv, fin- til middelskornet, kvartsbåndet magnetittmineralisering med kvarts og amfibol (prøve 01). Lokalt sees svovelkis og spor av kobberkis i kanten av kvartsbånd. Også skjærende tynne kvartsårer. Blokker (fra heng?) av granatmasse med magnetitt og kvarts. I heng er det en opptil 50-60 cm mektig kalkspatmarmor med overliggende granatglimmerskifer. Også i ligg granatglimmerskifer. Glimmerskiferen domineres av biotitt i ligg og muskovitt i heng. Enkelte smale amfibolittbånd i hengskiferen. Også semikonkordante kvartsbånd i heng. Mineraliseringen opptrer i omlag samme stratigrafiske nivå som mineraliseringen ved Høglund (TR0437) ca. 2 km mot ØSØ. Iflg. bergarkivkart 1148 skal det være mineralisering i vestskråningen av Veten (ved Magesås) ca. 6 km NV for Sjøvegan-mineraliseringen og i omlag samme stratigrafiske nivå. |
