Forekomsten ble mutet første gang i 1896. Mineraliseringen ligger 15 m S for elva og den 3 m lange stollen (10 m3 tipp) er gjenfylt ved nyprosjektert vei. I ligg er det grovkornet kalkspatmarmor med spor av sulfider (prøve 01) og skifrig kvartsitt med biotitt, granat og litt sulfid-disseminasjon (06). I heng er det en 6 m mektig skarnbergart bestående av grovkornet amfibol, granat, biotitt, kalkspat, kvarts og pyroksen med opptil 10 % sulfider. Mellom heng og ligg opptrer svovelkis, magnetkis, spor av kobberkis og enkelte korn av molybdenglans som disseminasjon og i smale sprekker og årer (02, 03, 04 og 05). Stollen er drevet inn i en skrent i skarnets liggkontakt til kalkspatmarmor.
