Mineraliseringen opptrer i veiskjæring og foruten det materialet som er sprengt ved veibyggingen og brukt til veifylling i nærheten, er det kun en liten (0,5 m3) røsk like ved veien. Sulfid-disseminasjonen opptrer i granatglimmerskifer i en mektighet på 10 m og lengde minst 200 m. Svovelkis (5%) og noe magnetkis og kobberkis er finfordelt i skiferen og finnes også på sprekker (prøve 01-04). I skiferen er det hyppige lag og linser av kvarts med sulfider innesluttet og langs kontakten (01). Innen den mineraliserte sonen er det også sulfidfrie skiferlag og noen dm-mektige kalkspatmarmorlag. I hengen er det et 10 cm mektig kalkspatmarmor-lag, så båndet gneis med veksling av granatglimmer-gneis, lys granittisk gneis og hornblendegneis.
