| Mineraliseringen har utgående i det godt blottede elveleiet fra Hirsajavri, 800 m vest for Haugavarri. Det er knapt 2 timer å gå langs god sti fra Bjørknes, via hytte ved Haugajavri og Haugavarri. Den finkornige kvartsbåndede (mm-skala) magnetitt-mineraliseringen (prøve 01) er blottet over få meters lengde på østsiden av elveleiet. Den ligger i amfibolitt, som er homogen på mineraliseringens hengside og båndet (kvarts-feltspatbånding) i ligg. Amfibolitten er hyppig gjennomsatt av opptil 4 - 5 m mektige granittpegmatittganger av forskjellig retning. |
