Adkomst via god sti fra Bjørknes, vest for høyde 93, og på østsiden av Notsynene (Svanefjellet). Mineraliseringen opptrer i en langstrakt, minst 8 km lang, amfibolitthorisont som er ombøyd i en antiform(?)struktur. Amfibolittsonen er opptil 200 m mektig, og fører jernmalmhorisonter (stedvis noe rustne) i flere nivåer, mer eller mindre sammenhengende over de 8 km. Mellom toppen av Notsynene og et lite vann på østsiden er det over en mektighet på ca. 10 m i amfibolitt med noe bånding av lysegrå gneis 7 - 8 bånd av finkornig kvartsbåndet magnetitt-mineralisering (prøve 01). De er 5 - 50 cm mektige.
