På Furuneset er det flere tynne malmsoner av god kvalitet som ligger i en synform som kommer fra Langfjorden. Blottet malmareal er meget beskjedent, men heikoptermålinger (fra 1968) gir en kraftig anomali som strekker seg ut i Ørnevatn. Den har sannsynligvis sin årsak i større malmmengder på dypere nivå. Eventuell drift her vil ikke kunne skje uten tapping av Ørnevatn. |
