| 4 - 6 tynne (2 - 10 m) malmsoner kan følges over 1.5 - 2 km fra Ampervatn til Brodervatn. Malmsonen fortsetter ytterligere 1.5 km mot SØ til Neverskrukkbukta (FI0330). Bortsett fra en sone av variabel kvalitet som ligger inntil en hornblendegneis, ligger alle malmsonene i et kvarts-feltspatrikt sediment med lys glimmer. Denne malmsekvensen skiller seg klart fra malmsynklinalen og Vakkeråsdraget. Magnetittbåndingen er lokalt grovere med opptil 5 cm tykke bånd. Malmkvaliteten kan forandres raskt langs og på tvers av strøket. Malmareal: 3000 m2. |
