| Mineraliseringen er blottet like ovenfor veiskjæring (østre del) ved avkjøring til Steinneset. I veiskjæringen opptrer båndede gneiser og glimmergneiser med svakt magnetiske amfibolitter. Horisonten med kvartsbåndet magnetitt-mineralisering ligger i tilknytning til en litt større amfibolitt (5 - 10 m mektig). Amfibolittsonen med jernmalm blir mot SV intrudert av Neidengranitten, men fortsetter på SV-siden av intrusjonen ("skjerp 1"). |
