I 1915-16 ble det drevet en 2 m dyp 20x4 m dagstrosse og uttatt 40 tonn malm, hvorav 5 tonn inneholdende 17 % Cu ble utskeidet. Mineraliseringen ligger i samme sone som Sølvberg Grube, og det er målt geofysikk både fra helikopter og med flere metoder på bakken, samt diamantboring (4 hull i 1978 og 1980). Boringene viste bare noen 5 cm tynne, massive malmstriper med magnetkis, sinkblende, kobberkis og blyglans, mens utgående viser 0.25 m mektig (0.10-0.70 m) massivmalm (prøve 02-05). Kruse (1981) konkluderer med at det dreier seg om en smal malmblyant med liten mektighet. Malmmineraler er magnetkis, kobberkis, sinkblende, blyglans, valleriitt, molybdenglans, arsenkis, tetrahedritt, rutil, magnetitt, breithauptitt, cubanitt og markasitt. Hengbergart er granatglimmergneis, med litt epidot og hornblende. Liggbergart er lys muskovittgneis (01). Dagstrossen (hovedskjerpet) er vannfylt, og mineraliseringen (04 og 05) sees ikke i fastfjell, men mektigheten oppgis som nevnt til 0.10-0.70 m. 35 m vest for vestenden av dagstrossen er det skjerpet (2x2 m, 4 m3 tipp) uten å treffe mineralisering.

Her er det sprengt ut 40 m3 i en skrent. Massiv-malmen (02 og 03) opptrer i boudinerte linser, opptil 25 cm mektige, som ligger stjert om stjert, med noen uregelmessige anrikninger i muskovittgneisen utenom.
