Forekomsten er påvist bl.a. av prof Th. Vogt og prøvetatt ved befaringer i 1948, men ingen analyser er funnet. Videre undersøkelser av Vasshaug i 1970, med analyser og forslag til boring. Resultat fra boring er ikke funnet. Sonen består av <1 m kisimpregnasjon. Utgående påvist i røsk også ved 543350Ø - 7420050N, på østsiden av Klaravann. Trolig samme stratigrafiske nivå som Jervas-forekomsten i Sverige og Kong Oscar-mineraliseringen. Stien, R. 1993. I følge Olav Valla i Sulitjelma er det gjort diamantboringer på mineraliseringen av Sulitjelma Bergverk. Det var ikke mulig å finne synlige bevis på at noe arbeid var utført, men fant to rustsoner i forskjellige stratigrafiske nivå som ble prøvetatt. Bergarten varierer mellom lys og mørk serisittskifer.
