Dagbrudd (500 m3 tipp), 30 x 3 m og høyde 6 m er drevet langs strøket til skarnhorisonten. Fink. skarn med bånd og linser av kalkspat og kvarts. Ujevn min. av magnetkis og kobberkis + noe sinkblende som impregnasjon og årer i skarn. Stedvis anrikning av malmmin. i kvartslinser (prøve 03). Sidebergarten er kalkspatmarmor med innslag av kalkglimmerskifer.

Abstract:
Formålet med undersøkelsene var å kartlegge geologisk området Flatlia-Kalseter og å undersøke malmforekomstene i området. En rekke Cu- og Zn-mineraliseringer fins i en hedenbergittskarnbergart som kan følges mer eller mindre sammenhengende fra Kalseter til Båsmoen i Rana. Skarnsonen antas opprinnelig å være et Cu-holdig basisk sediment som ble isokjemisk metasomatisk omvandlet til kalksilikater og senere breksiert og remobilisert. Magnetkis-kopperkis-mineralisering opptrer som nesten massiv breksje-malm eller som impregnasjon i skarnet. Ingen av de undersøkte forekomstene ansees for å være økonomisk interessante, men skarnsonen fra Flatlia mot Båsmoen kan inneholde større skarnkropper med lavprosentlig Cu-impregnasjon.

Skjerp 2: Ca. 40 m lang stoll er drevet mot N (130 m3 tipp). Glimmerskifer veksler med lag av kalkspatmarmor og smale soner av skarn som fører svak impregnasjon av magnetkis og kobberkis + sinkblende. Strøk/fall varierer mye.
