| Description |
| Bergarten er en relativt lys gneis hvor hovedmineralene er biotitt og feltspat. Bruddet er primært et pukkbrudd, men det sorteres ut endel større blokk som brukes til muring (maskinstein). Driften har pågått bare et års tid foreløpig. |
| Location |
| Bruddet ligger knapt 100 m SØ for RV718, ca. 3 km NØ for bunnen av Sørfjorden. Bortsett fra et nedlagt slakteri like ved, er det ingen bebyggelse i nærheten. Det burde derfor være gunstige omgivelser for et steinbrudd. |
