På vestskråningen av fjellryggen Kaldjortind - Raptind finnes en mengde små linser med sulfidførende, båndet magnetittmalm knyttet til Suprakrustale granulitter. Lignende malm finnes også på nordvestfoten av Seterfjellet i samme området. Etter et par år med forsøksdrift og tilredninger, kom produksjonen igang i 1905 og varte til 1907, hvoretter driften ble innstilt. P.g.a. kisføringen måtte over halvparten av den utbrutte malmen fraskeides. Total eksport var ca. 15.000 t. Den største i feltet er oppgitt å ha vært på ca. 12.000 t. Fra slutten av 1911 til 1912 ble det gjort et forsøk på gjenoppta driften, men ingen malm ble utskipet. Den skeidede malm inneholdt ca.57% Fe, 0.025% P, gjennomsnittlig 0.5% (men vekslende) og lite Ti.
