| Hovedmalmen ligger i en ca. 700m lang og opptil 10-12m tykk svart hornblende-amfibolitt. Øst for Finnset-hølet er det sett 0,5m tykk malm, og i Kvernbekken-Finnsetbakken 2-5 m tykk magnetittimpregnasjon. En prøve fra hver av disse lokalitetene er analysert ved Norsk Jernverks lab. 1973: Sett tykkelse Fe-tot. Fe-magn. P SiO2 CaO ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finnsethølet øst 0,5m 33,1 27,3 1,27 37,1 6,6 Kvernbekk-Finnsetb. 2-5m 24,6 16,2 0,870 42,7 7,3 1,4 km nord for Finnsethølet er horisontenpåtruffet øst for Svarttjønna 289 (bedre 70m SØ for Rundtjønna 350= lite 25m stort tjern i myr) som ca. 1m tykk magnetittimpregnert svart hornblende-amfibolitt. |
