På Langfjell 50m SV for Tisteltjønna (405) fører et opptil 20m tykt amfibolittlag middelskornet magnetitt (2-3 mm lange flat-trykte mt-korn). Bergarten strekker seg vel 1 km i strøkretningen, men skikkelig mineralisering er det i kun ca. 600 m lengde. Tonnasjen kan dreie seg om 1 mill. tonn 60 m ned langs malmfallet: 600m x 10m x 60m = 360 000m3 sp.v. 3,0 ~ 1080 000 tonn. Modalanalyse av et tynnslip (slip 58) gir (vol.%): 10 % magnetitt 3 % apatitt 49 % kvarts 20 % hornblende 8 % biotitt 6 % karbonat 3 % oligoklas ------------------ 99 % + spor av kloritt, svovelkis og turmalin.
