| Mineraliseringen som ble funnet på Kalvøya er ubetydelig, men det er usikkert med de to andre plottingene fra Bergarkivet, en ved Hestsandrevet og en vest for Arnøysundet, som ikke ble funnet. På Kalvøyas vestside er det enkelte årer i den massive grovkornete mangeritten av massiv Fe-Ti oksyd, som ved UTM 493080 7592050 (prøve 01) og UTM 493090 7592170 (prøve 02). Årene er opptil 5-6 cm mektige. Det er litt disseminasjon av Fe Ti oksyd i mangeritten utenom årene. Geis (1968) nevner en mineralisering 1 km vest for gården Fiskebøl i Gardberget i en høyde av 140 m.o.h. Det er en 20 m bred, steiltstående linse som er svakt mineralisert. Strøklengden er bare 50 m. |

| Oppramsing av hele landets jern-titanforekomster, hvorav 15 trekkes fram som de største. Hver forekomst beskrives ut fra befaring med geologiske og dels kjemiske data. Oppredningsresultater presenteres også. Oppramsing- en går fra Hedmark til Finnmark i nord. |
