Denne mineraliseringen er en godt magnetittimpregnert karbonatglimmerskifer med enkelte tynne, opptil 0,5m tykke magnetittrike bånd. Strøklengden mellom Moen gårdsruin og Erik Olsa la er 1,25 km. På hele strøklengden Midtgården-Erik Olsa la (1,6 km) er det gått 12 bakkemagnetometriske profiler som gir anomalibredde på 7-40m. Mineraliseseringens nordligste 500m er overdekket (under jernbanen og jordene der). 100-300m øst for mineraliseringen i karbonatglimmerskiferen er det flere steder 10-15 m brede benker med svak magnetittimpregnert cummingtonitt-bergart, f.eks i bekkemøtet Mellombekken-Innerbekken (165 moh., UTM 491850 7368250). Moen, som er valgt som hovedforekomst, er en 25 m mektig magnetometeranomali.
