Nevernes nedre mt.-mineralisering er utgående av den underjordiske Ømmervannsmalm, altså fortsettelsen mot vest og sør. Beste blotning er Sagbekken som er registrert som hovedforekomst (260-275 moh). Bergarten er amfibolitt med magnetittrike bånd i 40 meters bredde som med fall 30° mot SV betyr ca. 15m tykkelse. Hovedmineraliseringen er 2 båndete lag 10-30m fra hverandre og begge med linjal-form. Det er gått 13 stk. bakkemagnetometriske profiler i området mellom Sagbekken og Stormbekken over 1,45 km strøklengde, og det gir målinger på 6000-22000 gamma hvilket betyr relativt rik mineralisering. Med aksefall mot NV på 20° betyr det en linjalbredde på 300m.
