Mineraliseringen ble funnet i 1969 under kartlegging av U. Søvegjarto.Det er ikke skjerpet på sonen. I kalkspatmarmor opptrer 4 kvartsittlag over en bredde på 30 m og lengde på 150 m. Det er sannsynligvis ett lag som er gjentatt pga. folding. Kvartsitten har en mektighet på 0.1-0.5 m og ligger konkordant med foliasjonen. Svovelkis og sinkblende er de dominerende sulfider, mens blyglans er noe mindre fremtredende. Sulfidene er anriket i gjentatte bånd av noen få mm mektighet i kvartsitten (prøve 01-04).
