Rapporten omhandler en malmgeologisk beskrivelse og vurdering av Herjangens jernmalmfelt, beliggende på NV-siden av Herjangsfjorden (sannsynligvis samme som forekomst IV 183 "Bakkejord" eller IV 184 "Tollviken" i A.O. Poulsens oversikt (NGU 204, side 79, m.m.)) Flood anser jernmalmfeltet for å være uten praktisk betydning. |

Rapporten er en malmgeologisk beskrivelse og vurdering av Tortenås på nordsiden av Ofotfjorden. Rapporten har opplysninger om feltets beliggenhet og utstrekning, malmens mektighet og kvalitet (herunder noen kjemiske analyser). Rapporten konkluderer med at malmen er fattig, og oppdragsgiver anbefaler derfor ikke å investere i videre undersøkelser i feltet. |
