Skjerpet består av en meget bevokst skjæring og tipp. Alle prøver er hentet fra tippen. En liten kilde renner ut fra skjæringen og et kildehull innerst i skjæringen. Malmsonen er smal, ca. 20cm. Kalkspatmarmoren er glimmerrik og noe foldet. Mineraliseringen deler seg klart i to typer: Middelskornig pyritt. Oftest båndet og følger lagning. Mineralisering i marmor og gl.skifer. Minner om tilsvarende malm på Tårstad. 1 prøve (analysepr. + ref) Mineralisering i lys kalkspatmarmor hvor pyritt og biotittflak er ganske jevnt disseminert. Spalter opp etter talk (kloritt?)- flak. Samme type malm finnes på Tuva forekomsten, som ligger i samme drag. 1 prøve (analysepr. + ref)
