The Laksådal Mo, W deposit consists of scheelite and molybdenite which are present in veins and lenses with calcite crosscutting pegmatite, in diopside skarn (< 1 m thick) along the pegmatite, in the rim of thin quartz veins, and disseminated in wallrock close to the pegmatite.

Gruvegeologiske undersøkelser i Laksådal og Oterstrand.
;Norges geologiske undersøkelse;FAGRAPPORT;NGU-rapport; No.1575/20E;15 pages
Abstract:

Sampling of the Laksådalen-Bjellåtind W-occurrences, Gildeskål, Nordland
;Norges geologiske undersøkelse;RAPPORT;NGU-rapport; No.2008.043;65 s. pages
Abstract:
Two scheelite mineralizations in the Bjellåtind area, Gildeskål, Nordland, were sampled by 8 profiles cut by diamond saw. Total length of the profiles is 28,45 m. The sampled mineralizations, locality 1 and 2, occur in the same area as and in similar tectonostratigraphic position as the previously mined molybdenite deposits Laksådalen and Oterstrand. This report documents the sampling and analytical results. No further treatment or evaluation of the results has been done.
