Grøntuva er den vestre ende av et kisdrag over Hammarfjell. Forekomstene er knyttet til en keratofyr som pga. laminering er tolket som en tuff. Mineraliseringen er py-bånding og uregelmessige klyser av py. I tillegg en type sl-breksje med cp og gn. Grøntuva har alle disse malmtypene i sitt drag på ca. 1.3km. Dette kan følges som en rustsone i keratofyr som synes å dø ut i fortsettelsen mot V. Det er tatt fire prøver fra Grøntuva mineraliseringen. Hovedskjerpet: 01: Bestemalm (sl-gn-cp-po). 02: Keratofyr m/py. Vestligste skjerp: 03: Sl-rik breksjemalm. Vestside Hammarvatn: 04: Py-malm med cp+sl.
