Mineraliseringen opptrer i veiskjæringer nordvest for gården Løvsjøli. Den rikeste mineraliseringen består av en 0.5 m mektig kobber-magnetkis sone i et miljø av granatførende hornblendegneis, granat-klorittfels som representerer omvandlet granatamfibolitt. Bergartene er dels meget grovkornete. Mineraliseringen består i hovesak av svak disseminasjon av magnetkis, kobberkis og svovelkis. I borhull 1/76 (Grong Gruber A/S) ble et sulfidmineralisert parti på 4.5 m påvist. Sulfidene er magnetkis og svovelkis med spor av kobberkis. I borhull 2/76 er sulfidene knyttet til keratofyr. Boringene forklarte EM-anomaliene.
