Mineraliseringen ligger ved sørenden av Tunnsjøen, ca. 6 km vest for Tunnsjø kapell, på en markert kolle i åpent hogstterreng i Hansvika ved enden av en ny skogsbilvei. Den mineraliserte sonen er ca. 2 m mektig i arkose som veksler med kalkfyllitt. Få og små granittiske boller finnes i arkosen. Kobberkis opptrer i hovedsak på stikk og sprekker i arkosen og dels sammen med kvarts og kalkspat på årer. Mineraliseringen er ujevn og fattig.
