Forekomsten består av en større, vannfylt dagskjæring på vestsida av en åsrygg. Skjæringa har sidevegger på ca. 5x6 m som er opptil 5 m høye i øst. I østveggen går det inn en vannfylt stoll. Ved inngangen til bruddet fines finkornet, foliert amfibolitt med subkonkordante kvartsårer. Foliasjonen har orientering 5°/85°. Tilnærmet konkordante rustsoner som er få dm brede kan sees i bruddveggen i SØ. På tippen finnes både fin- og middelskornet amfibolitt. Foliasjonen i disse skjæres av kalkspatårer og kalkspatbreksje som er minst 10 cm bred. Svak disseminasjon av blyglans og lys sinkblende forekommer i disse. Forekomsten representerer trolig en sølvgruve.
