| Skjerpet ligger i en sørvendt skråningen vest for Storvollvola. Et 2x3 m stor skjæring med 3 m høy vegg i nord er skutt ut. Relativt store blokker utgjør en tipp på 30m3 i sør. Malmsona er 50-60 cm bred og ligger i foliert metagabbro, amfibolitt. Dette er tydelig en silifisert, tilnærmet øst-vest orientert deformasjonssone, som trolig representerer en skjærsone. Sulfidene opptrer både i strenger, på stikk og disseminert i denne sonen. Nord for skjerpet dominerer frisk, fin- til middelskornet amfibolitt. |
