Forekomsten ligger på østsida av Jervfjellet. En vannfylt skjæring med sidevegger 7 m x 1,5 m og retning 45° ligger mellom koller i glissen granskog. Mineraliseringen er omtrent totalt 1 m mektig og består av lag med massiv magnetitt (opptil 30 cm mektig), chert/blåkvartsitt med disseminert magnetitt og tynne lag og linser med grønnskifer. De gjennomskjæres av cm-tynne kvarts-feltspatårer med svak pyritt disseminasjon. Nord for skjerpet er blottet grønnskifer.
