Description
Fruhaugen-forekomsten består av tre grunne røskegrøfter i myrlendt terreng oppe på en kolle. Røskene ligger tilnærmet langs strøket (retning 30-35 grader) med avstand 20-30 meter fra hverandre. Den sørligste røsken er 8 x 2 m og 0.5 m dyp, den neste 10 x 2 m og ca. 2 m dyp (vannfylt) og den nordligste 9 x 2 m og 0.5 m dyp. Det er svært lite tippmateriale. I følge Braastad (1920) skal det nordligste skjerpet ha vært drevet som en synk i 1907-1908 og ha en betydelig tipphaug. Strøk blir oppgitt til NØ-SV med fall ca. 30 grader mot vest og med en betydelig mektighet. Mineralisering ble kun observert i noen få prøver på tipphaugen og ser ut til å består av mm til cm-tykke bånd med impregnasjon og semimassiv pyritt med mindre mengder sinkblende og kobberkis i kvarts-sericittskifer. Mektigheten på den mineraliserte sonen er antakelig rundt 1 meter (dårlig blottet og vannfylt røsk).
