Skjerpet ligger nær og på østsida av veien oppover dalen. Det består av en utsprengt grop med sidevegger på 3 x 3 m. Molybdenglans og pyritt finnes disseminert og i aggregater langs stikk og uregelmessige sprekker i kvartsrik, lys trondhjemittisk bergart. Mineraliseringens utstrekningen er vanskelige å bestemme. Middelskornet hornblende-biotitt skifer med foliasjon 188¿/65¿ er blottet 10 m sør for skjerpet.
