| Skjerpet befinner seg på en liten åsrygg, ca. 50 m vest for Grøtåa og 300 m nord for Grøtåtjønna. Skjerpet består av en ca. 7 m lang, 1.5 m bred og inntil 1.5 m dyp grøft i sørlig retning. Det er en en liten tipp på om lag 20 kbm øst for grøfta. Det er en ubetydelig mineralisering bestående av spredte slirer med magnetkis og litt kobberkis knyttet til en uregelmessig kvartsåre med noe amfibol, kloritt og biotitt. Åra ligger i metasandstein som dels er noe klorittholdig. Ryggen mot sør består ellers av fin- til middelskornet gabbro. |
