Forekomsten ligger i et hogstfelt i Bøvraslia ovenfor en traktorvei. Den består av et 2 x 2 m innhugg med en opptil 2 m høy vegg i nord og noen mindre arbeider over en lengde på ca. 15 m langs strøkretningen. Sulfidsonen er linseformet og ca. 0,5 m mektig og består av semimassiv magnetkis med linser/øyne av kvarts og feltspat. I ligg av denne, ovenfor skjerpet finnes kvarts-glimmergneis med foliasjon 115°/65°, mens granat-glimmergneis dominerer nedenfor.
