The country rock is a very coarse grained granite, crosscut by numerous this pegmatite veins in all directions. Closer to the ore body, the rock is finer grained and becomes more of a gneiss. The ore has been produced from a 2H2m shaft 4m deep, in a compact lense of pyrrhotite. The extracted mass is dumped next to the shaft. Minor disseminated pyrrhotite occurs in the gneiss close to the ore body. |
