Forekomsten ligger ved sørvestenden av Landvikvatnet og ble besøkt ved bruk av en liten pram fra sørenden av vannet. En stoll med retning 240° går inn 15 m fra vannkanten. Stollen er minst 70 m lang og opptil 2 m bred og har enkelte mindre tverrslag. Lokalt finnes rik kobberkismineralisering i en grovkornet pegmatitt som er rik på amazonitt. I tillegg består pegmatitten av noe kvarts og hornblende. Kobberkis er dels anriket i aggregater sammen med grovkornet kvarts og hornblende (prøve .01) og dels som uregelmessige årer og strenger i amazonitt (prøve .02). Over inngangen sees amazonitt med kobberkis som kutter grovkornet kvarts og indikerer flere faser med løsninger. Pegmatitten er over 5 m mektig og grenser til lys granittisk til granodiorittisk gneis som dels er migmatittisk.
