Forekomsten ligger i brattskråning vest for fylkesveien mellom Gransherad og Rjukan. Mindre forsøksdrift foregikk i 1906. En mindre dagstrosse fører inn til en liten, vannfylt skråsynk med vegger på 4x2 m, i bunnen av en brattskrent. I dagstrossa finnes kvartsittisk bergart med små kvartsganger. Omkring synken dominerer amfibolitt med feltspatårer. Malmmineraliseringene ser ut til å følge en Ø-V orientert sprekkesone med steilt fall mot nord. De består av anrikning av finkornet magnetitt i grønn epidotrik bergart. Anrikning av sinkblende, blyglans og flusspat? finnes også i denne (prøve TE0013.02). Lokalt opptrer kobberglans+bornitt i uregelmessige epidot-førende kvartslinser i tilknytning til denne knusningssona. Forekomsten har svært liten utstrekning og har ingen økonomisk interesse. |

Et lite skjerp med vegger på 1x1 m og 1 m høy kant i NØ. En kvartsgang/-linse finnes langs kontakten mellom kvartsitt i NØ og middelskornet amfibolitt i SV. Kun spor av kobberglans finnes i tynne, uregelmessige epidotårer i kvartsen som er melkehvit og middelskornet. |
